Step-by-Step Easy Farm Barn Tutorial
Start by drawing a wide, upside-down V-shape for the very top peak of the barn roof.

Draw two slanted lines going downwards and outwards from the ends of the V to form the classic gambrel roof shape.

Drop two straight vertical lines straight down from the edges of the roof to form the sides of the barn.

Connect the two walls at the bottom with a ground line.

Draw a large rectangle in the middle of the barn resting on the ground line for the main door.

Draw a classic X across the front door, and add a small square window high up under the roof.

Draw a tall cylinder with a dome top standing right next to the barn wall to be the silo.

Color your perfect drawing with classic red walls, a gray roof, and a silver silo!

Gambrel Roof: The two-angle slanted roof shape is what gives a classic barn its distinctive silhouette — don’t skip the extra slant!
Silo Placement: Position the silo right next to the barn wall so it looks structurally connected to the farm scene.
