Step-by-Step Easy Rocket Tutorial
Start by drawing a tall inverted U-shape for the main fuselage (body) of the rocket.

Draw a curved horizontal line across the bottom to close the main body shape.

Draw a triangle right on top for the sharp nose cone that points into space.

Draw a large triangle fin sticking out of the left side of the bottom to help it fly straight.

Draw a matching large triangle fin sticking out of the right side.

Draw a small rectangle at the very bottom center for the main engine nozzle.

Draw two circle windows (portholes) in the middle of the rocket body so the astronauts can look out!

Draw jagged lines bursting out of the engine nozzle for the fiery blast-off!

Color your rocket silver with bright red fins and nose cone, and don’t forget the orange and yellow fire! 3… 2… 1… Liftoff!

Sharp Fins: Keep the fins pointed and angular — that’s what makes the rocket look aerodynamic and fast.
Fiery Blast: Jagged, uneven lines for the exhaust flame look more explosive than smooth curves.
