Step-by-Step Easy Minion Tutorial
Start by drawing a large, tall oval (like a pill shape) for the main body.

Draw a thick horizontal strap straight across the top part of the body. Do not erase the body line underneath it!

Draw a large circle right in the middle of the strap for the metal goggle frame. Don’t erase the strap lines inside it!

Draw a smaller circle inside the goggle for the eye, and add a small dot pupil looking up or to the side.

Draw a small smile. Then, draw a horizontal line across the bottom part of the body to start his overalls.

Draw two small squares on the sides for the overall straps, and a square pocket on his belly.

Draw two straight arms pointing down, ending in round gloves. Don’t erase the body lines cutting through the arms!

Draw two short legs sticking out from the bottom, ending in small oval shoes.

Color your character bright yellow and blue, with a silver goggle and black shoes and gloves.

Goggle Overlap: Letting the strap and goggle frame lines overlap without erasing is what gives Minions their classic mechanical goggle look!
Pill Shape: Keep the body nice and tall with rounded top and bottom — that capsule shape is the key to a recognizable Minion.
