Step-by-Step Easy Elephant Tutorial
Start by drawing a large, perfect circle in the middle of your paper. This will be the elephant’s big, round head!

Inside the circle, draw two open circles for eyes, a curved smiling mouth, and a long curved line coming down for the trunk.

Draw two massive, curved ear shapes attached to both sides of the head. Add curved lines inside them for the inner ears.

Underneath the head, draw a wide, curved body shape finishing with two thick, sturdy front legs with flat bottoms.

Draw two back legs peeking out from behind. Finish the trunk with a second curved line, and draw a thin tail with a leaf-shaped tuft.

Draw several short, curved horizontal lines crossing the trunk to give it a wrinkly, realistic texture.

Draw two small pointy tusks near the mouth. Add small dots inside the eyes, cute eyebrows, and finish the tail tuft details.

Color the elephant’s body, head, and trunk a cool gray color. Leave the tusks white!

Color the inner ears and rosy cheeks pink! Color the tail tuft dark gray or black. Your elephant is complete!

Circle Trick: Use a cup or bowl to trace a perfect circle for the head!
Trunk Tip: Draw the trunk curving slightly to one side — it looks more natural than a perfectly straight one.
