Step-by-Step Easy Penguin Tutorial
Start by drawing a perfect circle in the middle of your paper for the penguin’s head.

Underneath the head, draw a larger circle that connects to the head to create a chubby body shape.

Inside the head, draw a straight horizontal line. Then draw two dot eyes on the line, and a triangle pointing down for the beak!

Carefully erase the straight horizontal guideline running across the face, leaving just the eyes and beak.

Draw two curved flipper wings on the sides of the body, and two webbed feet with three toes at the bottom.

Inside the large body circle, draw a giant heart shape. This will be the penguin’s white belly!

Draw curved lines over the eyes connecting to the belly heart to create a mask pattern. Add cute hair tufts on top!

Start coloring your penguin! Use black or a cool icy blue. Color the beak and feet orange.

Add pink rosy cheeks under the eyes. Make sure the belly heart and the face mask stay completely white!

Heart Belly: The heart shape on the belly is the key to making this penguin look extra cute — make it nice and big!
Color Options: Try using dark blue instead of black for a unique icy penguin look!
