Step-by-Step Easy Dinosaur Tutorial
Start by drawing a large circle near the top of your paper for the dinosaur’s head.

Draw a large oval attached slightly behind and below the head circle. Let the head overlap the body!

Draw a wide U-shape sticking out from the front of the head circle. This will be his big T-Rex nose!

Draw two small ovals sticking out from the front of the body. T-Rexes have very short arms!

Draw two thick ovals at the bottom of the body. Don’t erase the body lines cutting through them.

Draw a thick, curvy tail sticking up from the back of the body.

Draw small, pointy triangles all the way down his back and tail.

Draw a small dot for an eye, a little smile line, and some sharp triangle teeth inside his mouth.

Color your T-Rex bright green, with dark green for his back spikes.

Tiny Arms: Keep the T-Rex arms very small compared to the body — that’s one of the most recognizable and fun features to draw!
Spike Row: Space the back spikes evenly and make them slightly smaller toward the tail for a natural tapering look.
